RETURN POLICY

In accordance with consumer protection regulations in British Columbia, we are committed to clear and fair practices regarding medical compression garments: 

Medical compression garments are personal medical supplies. Once they come in contact with skin and sweat, they cannot be resold due to infection control and hygiene standards. For this reason, we cannot accept returns or exchanges of worn items.


Thigh-high garments or items with silicone bands/dots may cause skin irritation. Wash all garments gently before first use. Reactions caused by prolonged wear, friction, or individual sensitivity are outside our control, and such items cannot be exchanged or returned. 


Manufacturer defects, such as seams visibly coming apart, are eligible for exchange. To request an exchange:

  • Report the defect within 7 days of receiving the item.
     
  • Email sensiblewellnessteam@gmail.com with the subject line:
     “Manufacturer Defect – [Item Name]”
     
  • Include the following in your email:
     
    • Photos clearly showing the defect
       
    • Purchase date
       
    • Received date
       
    • Your contact information
       

Once we receive your email with all required details, we will work with the manufacturer to process your request.


Items reimbursed by insurance, or showing reactions after use, cannot be returned or exchanged. For direct-billed items, we may assist with manufacturer defects following the same reporting procedure above, outside our control, and such items cannot be exchanged or returned. 


Skin Health Products

  • Opened or used products (e.g., SPF, eczema cream, lotions) cannot be returned or exchanged due to hygiene and contamination risks.
     
  • Unopened or defective products can be returned if reported within 7 days by email with photos and purchase/receive dates.
     

Donning Aids

  • Opened items with manufacturer defects can be returned or exchanged if reported within 7 days by email with photos and purchase/receive dates.
     
  • Returns are not accepted for preference-related reasons, including if the item is not used often, used incorrectly, or shows damage from improper use. Donning aids are recommended to support wearing compression garments and have been deemed medically necessary; items cannot be returned due to personal preference.
     

Returns via post are at the customer’s expense.
